RECAP: Amy and Casey Text messages

Casey and Amy did a lot of texting back and forth. Here are some of the messages Amy received from Casey:

I feel better. I felt better around 8 last night. So I was even more bummed. Ha ha. Oh, well. I’m glad you guys had fun.

If there was anyone to take my place I’m glad it was you.

Oh, I completely agree. If anything as long as we buy them around the same time we should be OK with our seats. I think we could call the airline and get them adjusted after the fact. As long as we sit together I don’t care. Ha ha.

I stayed with Ric last night. Some of the best sex we ever had. And again this morning. Either I’m really weak or I’m falling for this kid. Neither is a good situation.

I’m trying. Things just stick between him and I. Last night it was a very emotional connection .. besides physical. And it was the same way this morning. He didn’t smoke once the entire night. Maybe he’s making an effort? I don’t know.

Glad you went out and had fun. You definitely needed it. We know how that boy is with his emotions. At least he’s trying .. and if he keeps it up there’s room to hope. If he goes back to his regular routine then it’s a pretty easy decision.

Ur seriously an amazing person. I can’t believe u followed me when I stormed off in case I needed girl time. That means a lot, we know each other a bit, but that was unexpected. Thank you.

    Ewwwww, shes one used up nasty scank. And has anyone else noticed that she looks a lot older then 23? My husband walked in while I was watching her latest appearance, and was like who is that?? When I told him he was like, she looks like an old hag with lots of mileage, and diseases.

  49. Yeah, Casey does look different. As someone on this blog stated before, being in jail takes a big toll on people, especially 23 hours in cell. Now she’ll experience what it’s like for some of the working people who can’t afford to go out and about and/or don’t have time to. It’s impossible to stay slender when you don’t have any activity and you’re forced to eat junk food. Even though she’s allowed to buy those special snacks, it’s still junk food. It probably tastes better than the jail food, but it’s still junk food.

    She’s put on a good 30 pounds so far, and it’s only been 7-8 months. Can you imagine after 2-3 years?! I say when she adds another 30 pounds to the 30 pounds she already added, she is going to look totally matronly, the complete opposite of what she used to look like. Because when you’re short like she is(she’s about 5 foot, 1 inch), really short and have slender bones, you are really going to pork out royally. When we women get older and gain weight, it makes us look totally matronly. And she is going to look so totally fat and matronly. And you know Casey, especially, is going to hate that, since she is so superficial and shallow and cares so much about appearances, so much so that she steals from her ill grandparents. So she’ll hate gaining weight more than anything!

  64. I guess a normal, happy evening in their house was the usual massive fight breaking out, then the supposedly choking of Casey, who in turn, choked the life out of Caylee.

  87. This is a great blog. The people here are funny, insightful, smart. This blog is peaceful and wise.
    All of the above makes it so enjoyable. I have been reading for a long time, and only started commenting 2-3 days ago.

    What I don’t understand is why you bothered to post if you don’t like it here. As far as the Anthony’s go they have done NOTHING to help with finding Caylee and bringing her justice. I couldn’t care less if they continued to love and even support their daughter. I do care that they have lied and covered up along with putting blame on others to help get their daughter off.
    Now if you have something to bring to the table that you would like to discuss about the case I am all for it.

    It there is something you would like to bring to the table and discuss about the case I am all for that. What would you like to discuss about the case??

  219. Soninheaven, let me first say that you have a right to your opinion. However, I don’t appreciate you calling the folks that post here stupid. Yes, there are less than serious posts here sometimes, but apparently you haven’t bothered to read all of the insightful comments people make here. We don’t always agree with one another, but we respect each other’s opinions. You are right, I don’t know exactly what George and Cindy are going through. I don’t have a child in jail for the murder of a grandchild, but I lost an infant child a couple of years ago. I wouldn’t wish that grief and pain on my worst enemy.

    The bottom line is, many felt sorry for the Anthonys in the beginning, but their lies, stonewalling, obstruction and disdain for the law…all while not standing up for the real victim, Caylee, has earned them criticism and skepticism. Can you honestly say that their actions don’t warrant some sort of scrutiny? Anyway, you are entitled to your frustration with us, but the name-calling isn’t necessary. We all want justice for Caylee. I’m not sure the Anthonys want the same thing.
