The state of Florida is asking for the DEATH PENALTY in the case against Casey! The state is citing “sufficient aggravating circumstances”!!! “Based upon additional information that has become available since the waiver of intent to seek the penalty of death filed on December 5, 2008, sufficient aggravating circumstances exist to justify the imposition of the Death Penalty,” the filed letter stated.   State Letter

According to Marti Mackenzie, she says that this is not a death penalty case. They already have Terence Lenamon on the case for the death penalty. Lenamon is disappointed in the state that they are taking this route. Bob Jarvis a legal teacher says that he THINKS the state is tired of Casey not taking a plea….but were there pleas out on the table? Only one at the beginning of this case is all I remember. He also states they do NOT put woman to death in Florida! Well, Jarvis needs to check on this:

Judias Goodyear Buenoano was sentenced to death and executed on 30 March 1998
Aileen C Wuornos was sentenced to death and executed on 9 October 2002
Tiffany Cole is currently on death row in Florida

Oprah Winfrey will be interviewing the Anthony! No date has been given! If it is anything like their depositions, Oprah will need counseling! 

The d-team has asked for a judge to help them with getting detailed phone records from 12 prosecution witness, including the Anthony clan! The individuals are Roy Kronk, Jesse Grund, Tony Lassaro, Richard Cain, Cindy and George, Lee, Ricardo Morales, Amy Huizenga, Dominic Casey, James Hoover and Keith Williams. They want calls, text messages P2P communications, internet usage, WAP usage, cell tower ping, etc.  Motion

I had forgotten about it until just now. Some real damning truth is supposed to be exposed or revealed! I guess we will see?!

NO, is my opinion, she is too stupid for one and waaaaaaay too Cocky and she thinks she is smarter than the State.   111. Did anyone catch how George (outright lied) in his depo? He stated that they did not sign anything with the PI. Cindy comes in later and says they had a contract and it was signed, notorized and witnessed. That was just one lie I caught. Cindy had to be telling some stories too, sweating like she was. And you can’t tell me that there isn’t some backdoor deal in the works, why is it necessary for Cindy to bring her own video recorder to the depo. and all these people working for free, I don’t believe it for a minute. NO ONE WORKS FOR FREE!

    There’ll be some bombshell coming. The fact that George is involved up to his eyeballs shouldn’t be a surpise. Have they tested him as the baby daddy? Does anyone know?

    The more Cindy denies the fight, the more I believe that Casey made a threat on June 15. Cindy wants to cover up this so badly. I think she heard a threat and wanted to ignore it. She must have since her and George refused to answer any of Casey’s calls a day or two later. Cindy’s denial has always worked for her. On july 3, she became more suspicious that something terrible happened and went from their into cover up mode.

  175. I don’t think Cindy is trying to protect Casey as everyone says. Think how quickly they bailed on Caylee. They are basically selfish and self indulgent. They didn’t even try to get Casey a lawyer initially. Most people would sell their home to help their kids. Cindy only cared when things about her came to light. She’s not that caring or prone to sacrifice. She wants everything handed to her. She’s protecting the fact that she’s heard threats or knew something was up and ignored it. She’s more worried about public opinion than her own family. It’s all about image.

    IMHO: I believe and hope for Cindy to be arrested. She has lied (repeatedly), concealed evidence, obstructed justice, and hindered law enforcement each and every time the opportunity arose. I agree, it’s TIME for the kid gloves to come off….get down to it.!!

    I have a son in Law Enforcement and I know many of you have relatives, or you are yourselves are in LE.
    I know personally, up front and in person how 99% of them are hard-working, honest and decent individuals. I personally take GREAT offense when Cindy and George bad-mouth and berate our LE & FBI.

    I watched all of Cindy’s interviews with LE and can honestly say, those guys deserve a medal !! I know they must have gone home that night, sat in a dark corner with their head in their hands…bless them.!!

  179. I know allot disagree with me, but I have said all along that Caylee showed signs of having some developmental issues. When she was jabbering at the old folks home the last time she was photographed, listen to her speak. Remember, she was 2 1/2 and had the verbal skills of an 18 month old baby. She seemed very SLOW and baby like. I would not say retarded, but there was something not right. Still in diapers?

    I have my doubts regarding Lee’s DNA, then not one word mentioned about George’s. No reason to keep this a total SECRET unless it involved criminal prosocution of a family member. They would not give a hoot about anyone else…they have proved that one time and again. Plus, they would have gone after the father for MONEY….as they have proven how money hungry they are and would stoop as low as needed to get it.

    Nothing else would make sense.

  184. Christine. A while back I googled dark circles under the eyes. It said that it can be caused by artery dialation. I looked up Xanax and it does cause this. No one was very interested but still it’s worth mentioning.

If you think Cindy and George are losing it now, can you imagine the toll it’s going to have on them as this drags out til October,probably longer now that they’ve decided to go for the death penalty.By the time the trial starts Cindy and George will be wrecks and I can’t imagine what their stories are going to be by then.

This whole thing shows how selfish Casey is,she is willing to let her parents go through all this torment trying to protect her.The Anthony’s have to realize Casey is only interested in herself and could care less about them.For Casey they’re all she’s got and she’ll use them for as long as she can.

  467. Terry, you are exactly right, but why should she respect them when they have no self respect? No self respecting adult would play the game, particularly in the public eye. They aren’t as stupid as they look, they know how absurd this is, they would rather look like fools than admit to raising the Beelzebub, little do they know, they look more foolish trying to cover it up.

    Having said that, there is a catch 22 to this. Death row Chaplains report that most DR inmates stand on their innocense so not to disappoint their supporters. Casey may have thought at one point that it would be fun to throw this in Cindy’s face, but when they stood and fought for her, she lost her nerve and decided to fight for herself.

Now that the death penalty is on the table,maybe Casey will have second thoughts about making a plea.It’s quite a gamble with ones life when there is so much circumstancial evidence piled up against her.Even her lawyers,no matter how confident they might feel about getting Casey off,would be narcistic if they wre willing to gamble with their clients life to make a big name for themselves. It’s going to be quite interesting in the next couple of weeks.

  469. I think Baez would fight it if it was up to him. But that choice may be taken out of his hands. They may not allow him to be responsible for her life. I don’t know what LP meant yesterday, but I seriously doubt they put the DP on the table because they are having problems with evidence, as some thought he meant. He may have just meant they are using it as bait because the defense has things to hide. It will be interesting to hear what else he has to say and I’m sure he will spill it as soon as he gets the chance.

LP’s thoughts on why the prosecution put the death penalty back on the table,I disagree with.i believe the prosecution has enough evidence to prove a strong case against Casey.I believe that because she is such a young woman and that over time they have found disturbing family issues that could have affected casey’s state of mind that the prosecution hopes Casey and her defense team will come around and take a plea.Maybe then,we’ll find out the truth of what happened to Caylee.
