Now that Anthony is looking at a possible death sentence, her attorney said the defamation suit filed by Gonzalez needs to take a back seat. That’s the argument made by her legal team this week in their renewed motion to stay the case until after the criminal matter is resolved.
Zenaida’s lawyer, Keith Mitnik, said, “This case is a separate matter and we won’t take a back seat.” But Anthony’s legal team argued that she could not defend herself in the suit with the possibility of the death penalty hanging over her head.
In a phone conversation with WESH 2, Anthony’s lawyer, Jonathan Kasen, said he’s hopeful the judge will grant this motion. However, the judge is not scheduled to hear it until September.

Meter reader Roy Kronk’s statements “are layered with inconsistencies,” attorney Jose Baez says in a new motion. WESH-Channel 2’s Bob Kealing explained that the motion is part of Baez’s “broader strategy to paint Kronk as a potential suspect.” Baez is representing Casey Anthony, who is charged with the first-degree murder of her daughter, Caylee.
Baez seeks Kronk’s phone records to explore the cited inconsistencies. What does the new motion mean? WESH called on Orlando defense attorney Richard Hornsby for analysis. “In [Baez's] mind, Roy Kronk is … as suspect as anything that Casey Anthony has said or done,” Hornsby said.
Kronk attorney David Evans defended his client in the WESH report. “He’s told his story truthfully from day one, will continue to do that, and so I don’t think it’s inconsistent at all,” Evans told Kealing

Good morning all. Merzew, it’s not me who has the kidney stones. Don’t know where that came from. Anyway, just killing time lurking and playing solitaire. Going to go back to the beginning again and listen carefully to police interviews. It’s always different every time you read or listen to them. All of a sudden, you think, of course, why didn’t I see/hear that the first time around. Sure would like to know what happened with the great chase. I am so very sick of these people getting away with so much. I am sure their neighbors are watching them from behind the curtains. How do they think they can do these crazy things and no one will see them. How do they have the audacity to think they can take the law in their own hands? Wonder if the police ever come down on them, or do they still pamper the “grieving” grandparents. The A’s are so full of BS.

Every time any of you start to get bored because nothing new is happening or being released, just go back and listen to Cindy and George’s deposition and their LE interviews. Also, listen over and over again to the initial LE interviews with Casey. That way, you will remember why you are here and why you continue to seek justice for Caylee.

Speaking of Bailey’s, we usually spike the Sunday coffee with Bailey’s or Carolyn’s or Cask and Cream, but having none, I quickly whipped up a substitute in the Magic Bullet: 1 cup heavy cream, 1 cup whiskey, some maple syrup, and a splash of creme de menthe. It’s actually an awesome little cordial on its own. I meant to add vanilla extract but forgot it, but it didn’t really need it. Now I’ve made a big batch of sangria. Woot!

Of course the dna isn’t strictly for paternity, is it? I presume it’s for other purposes of identification, like vidence found at the crime scene. If so, does that mean that some types of dna evidence were found? Not that it would be odd for Caylee to come into contact with say hair from geo or lee or anyone in the family—kinda depends on what they found, where.
Now if some of the collected dna happens to go for paternity testing, well, who’s to say what might turn up.

I heard or read one that LE know who the baby daddy is but it is sealed. I don’t know if that is true or not as i don’t know how they would know since snothead doesn’t know in my opinion. if this isn’t true then i still am suspicious bozo is the daddy. maybe that is why bozo is fighting so hard to keep the tape of casey’s reaction hidden so well. it was said he cried. now i know anyone can cry when hearing about a body found of a child, but for one it had not even proven to be caylee at this point, and two i cannot see bozo as the type to cry over a stranger baby found.

Some on yesterdays blog i read think Lee will be a key witness and turn on casey. I Could be totally dead wrong but i don’t see it. Hi folks. Hope everybody’s weekend has been good. I read an interesting comment on Caylee Daily. Someone brought up the Polly Klaas murder trial and how the killer’s attorney ripped his parents for abusing him in various ways. I don’t recall much from that trial, except for the killer’s inexcusable behavior in court. I do think that if Casey’s attorneys feel doing something similar, is necessary to save her sorry hide, they won’t hesitate to do it. G&C can’t defend themselves because they aren’t on trial. They will be sitting ducks for whatever her lawyers toss at them.
