The items, listed below were examined in the DNA Analysis Unit II:
Q46.2 Hair from Q46 shovel (OCSO Item # 1, K-1)
This report contains the results of the mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) examinations.
Results of Examinations:
A mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) sequence was obtained from the Q46.2 hair from the shovel.
This sequence was compared with the mtDNA sequence from the K1 buccal sample identified as
coming from CASEY ANTHONY, identified as the mother of CAYLEE MARIE ANTHONY
(FBI Laboratory Number 080730003, FBI Laboratory report dated August 8, 2008). The mtDNA
sequences obtained from items Q46.2 and K1 are different. Therefore, both CASEY
ANTHONY and CAYLEE MARIE ANTHONY can be excluded as the source of the Q46.2 hair.
The mtDNA sequencing results are detailed below.
Results are listed as differences from the published revised Cambridge Reference Sequence (rCRS).

No other mtDNA examinations were conducted.
Remarks:
The Q46.2 hair was consumed during analysis. The remainder of the submitted items will be
returned under separate cover along with the processed DNA generated from the mtDNA
examinations. The processed DNA can be found in a package marked PROCESSED DNA
SAMPLES: SHOULD BE REFRIGERATED/FROZEN. It is recommended that these samples
be stored in a refrigerator/freezer and isolated from evidence that has not been examined.

Good Morning, Just out of curiosity, has anyone seen the pictures the anthony’s posted on the caylee marie foundation webpage of them giving out the caylee bear at the hospital, (how is that helping find missing children?) people must be sending them donations for the bears because I’m sure they are not paying for them from their own money. Isn’t there a way we can boycott those donations? what a scam!

tania, I did just see that. Not to mention, there are also photos from when they were in Ohio, at the Sheriff’s office with the bears. This occurred on June 15th, I believe that is when they were having a prayer/memorial for Caylee. They sure do look mighty happy in those photographs.

Steph, I looked at the photo, it was from an OH hospital. I don’t understand it, these children are sick – why would you give them a bear that represents a murdered child at the hands of her own mother? that is just too morbid, IMO

That is not you but wordpress…many of us go to an old blog to get to the new blog. The link I posted at the very top I copied and pasted for Humble’s new forum. When coping I did something wrong and it is no good. But the last links I posted are good. But, they are not for wordpress they are for a different forum you have to register for. Hey Tania – giving away bears at a hospital ???? The problem is the Anthony’s still have no clue. They still want to play the “victim” role and appear as even though they have suffered a terrible loss and completely relate to all the other victims out there of missing children they still take the time to help comfort the other “less fortunate” people in the world. Oh my, how refreshing, how selfless, how rewarding it must be for them to act as if they didn’t raise a sociopathic, self absorbed thief and child killer. George and Cindy operate under the misguided belief that one day this will just all blow over and we will all forget why Caylee isn’t here anymore. Actually the worst part is yet to come for them when the trial starts. I truely believe that even they won’t be able to explain away what’s going to come out about Casey.

When a 2-year-old is murdered, people ask questions. Go figure. What the hell is the matter with these people?

This should never ever happen, when you realize how many thousands of nice couples would have loved to adopt Caylee and given her a good home. Cindy also belongs in prison (but I’m pretty sure we all agree on that).
I like to think “they will get theirs” in the end.

This seems like the “nothing” evidence we are getting. I’m a molecular biologist. There is a lot of “non-informative” or “nothing” data (we call it “results not shown), and then there is the informative or “something” data. You get both when you collect data. I imagine forensics is like this. They are saving “the good stuff” and releasing the stuff they don’t care about.

When I look at the evidence we have seen and only what we have seen…I believe in my heart the state would not have a problem winning a conviction. I would love to see some finger prints or something like that, but if they are not there I am okay, because there is soooo much there.

Hey Wolfman – I would imagine the fact Caylee was lying there for so long just rotting away that by the time the remains were found there really wasn’t anything concrete to figure out how she died. Being exposed to the elements for so long certainly didn’t help in coming to any sort of conclusion to answer the “how’s and why’s”….only casey has those answers.

I doubt either the prosecution or the defense wants everything “out there” before trial.
Oh, I think there will be physical evidence linking Casey to the crime scene. Or maybe more like the crime scene, the house, and the car all linked by contiguous pieces of duct tape. Some with fingerprints.
Theothermary, all the more reason why Cindy should be charged. valuable time was lost because of the “song and dance” Cindy and George put on. And destroying the evidence from the car. They knew. They knew the minute they smelled that car.

i watched yesterday much murder cases,after the reporter talk with the jury.i must say it was taff jury people.in much cases was no fingerprints and no dna.her acting after caylee was missing,this will convict her!

That also explains why they didn’t have the police out looking for them. If a family member was “missing” for 31 days, and if that was not normal, wouldn’t most people call the police? They didn’t call the police because they wanted to protect Casey. Why didn’t they feel as strongly about protecting Caylee?
THis whole family is a textbook case. “Protect Casey at all costs” seems to be deeply ingrained. It is like a sickness.

What I find oddly curious about these people is that when they did go to pick up the car after Casey just left it, smelled the decomp.in it (hoping it wasn’t Caylee in the trunk through George’s own admission)not to mention Casey being AWOL for over a month with Caylee, knowing there was something seriously wrong – my gut instinct would have been to go straight to the police fearing the worst. Cindy’s first instinct is, according to her co-wokers, was to give casey a chance to explain first before involving anybody else. Then when it seemed Cindy’s hunches were pretty much confirmed by all of Casey’s lies she then called the police but only as a means to “scare” the truth out of Casey. All that tells me that not only were they used to getting the run-around from casey that this just seemed like one more of casey’s crazy stories but at one point even Cindy admits, Casey does lie but eventually she always tells me the truth. Guess Cindy just didn’t know Casey as well as she thought…..

I think if Casey would have taken Cindy to Caylee that night we would never have heard another 911 call. I also think when she was using her scare tactic to get Casey to take her to Caylee…she knew it wouldn’t be an alive Caylee. By the last call I think Cindy had a bit of denial of who was responsible when Casey said the nanny. I don’t think the denial lasted long but I also don’t think we would have heard this call if she didn’t feel she had someone else to blame.

Steph, I agree. Cindy would have covered it up if she had the opportunity. I think that is where D. Casey’s “order” “not to call” LE (if he found anything) came from. My guess is D. Casey has told LE all about it by now.
Who else would have the audacity “not to call” LE if they found a body? Or even hint at “not calling” LE if they found a body? These people obviously think they make their own laws.
I don’t know how Kronk knew, or if Kronk was tipped, but Kronk ruined their plan.

Theo, another thing I find curious is; her daughter and granddaughter are missing, the car smells like decomp. and she stills finds the need to do laundry. I guess they have to release the remains to family, even if the family is kooky.
Would charging Cindy at this point help or hurt the case against Casey? on one hand, it might help, because it would show the state’s determination to uncover the truth amidst a bunch of lies.
But it might hurt, because the state probably wants to call Cindy to the stand (whereupon she will lie and perjure herself). (Which I bet the state knows). Could this be why they aren’t charging Cindy (yet)?

I agree, Wolf. They are many murder cases, where family members get charged even 1 to 2 years down the road for accessory to the fact, or some other crime like tampering with evidence. I’ve read stories like that and ‘LE does clean house’.

I think we are all feeling financially squeezed nowadays, except the big-wigs who are spending our money so freely.
It is mostly owing to a political re-alignment. Hopefully, that re-alignment won’t be a total disaster. I am skeptical. (Maybe Bush was only our second-worse mistake)

food! They get in big fights when other dung beetles who try to steal their poop balls away from them! They are funny to watch but probably serve a better purpose in this world than the A’s do

I agree, humble….she does not have to take a plea. Even if she is sentenced to death, most DP cases after conviction are being converted to lwop, so she will take her chances….if indeed she does not take a plea.

This is all true Humble, but I still wonder if this Lyons person is trying to work this in. She than can keep her record of getting people off dp.
I just really want this to go to trial. After that I DO want the rest of the family charged. I don’t want them to have this deal or that deal…no immunity. I don’t want them to be able to continue to go around collecting money from people and using this poor me look what we have lost.
