Dominic Casey, the PI that said he would help with the investigation is distancing himself from James Hoover. 

Hoover is not associated with D&A Investigations.  Hoover showed up at the Anthony’s door one day to offer to help, for free.

  

Dominic said he was at the site were Caylee was found.  He said, “I went out there to determine if it really was a place where teens hung out.”

 

Dominic added that he was taking photos to document information found in discovery documents that stated it was a teen hang out.  He said he was looking for items such as beer bottles, makeshift chairs and similar items.

 

“As I turned around, Hoover was standing there with a video camera,” Dominic said.  “Dominic said, What are you doing here?’  Hoover said, ‘I thought you might want help.’  Dominic said, James, that’s completely inappropriate’.”

Dominic took photos of the area and said he’s turned over his photos to the Anthony’s attorney, to give to prosecutors.

 

Hoover no says that the tape does not exist, and that he has taped over it. 

According to Leonard Padilla, James Hoover told him he knew way Caylee’s body was.

  5. They all need to be arrested and held for questioning. He did not search the site for the things he states and not see Caylee’s remains. Anyone searching would have looked in the bag just out of curiousity.

    Good morning
    I just cannot believe if they all knew this that Bozo did not. One big concern I had was when Casey was found guilty she would get an appeal on inadequate representation. Bozo has made some big mistakes in this case and didn’t have the experience for such a high profile case. Even though I didn’t care for Baden and that crew I thought there is enough experience it will not be a problem, believing Casey would still be found guilty. Now I am back to thinking she could get an appeal because I really do believe Bozo knows allot about what happened.

  12. Geeeze, I just posted this on the other blog, can’t keep up, here is is again.

    It is hard for me to believe that anyone actually stood in the spot where Catlee was found and took video pictures. As you drive down Suburban Dr. you pass a wood fence to the right. Then a wooded space and then a chainlink fence to almost the end of the road. At the end is another fence with a locked gate. On the other side is all woods and to the right is all woods. There is a dirt path that could be driven on with a car beyond the gate. Other than that there are a few places where sort of paths were made by mostly kids playing in the woods but are very over grown.

    So for someone to drive up there and just say “this is the place where her hangout was as a kid”, would include a fairly large area and include very dense woods. I took photos and one short video of the area but mostly at the end of the street. There is so much garbage and junk it would be hard to say any picture shows much of anything.     It is just beyond the fence and gate at the end of the street, maybe 200-300 feet from the crime scene.

    If the video exist then LE will have to compare it tree by tree to see if it was the exact same area. My guess it is more hype to get a name in the media as it seems this is what the game has become. Lawyers, PI’s, media promoters, sign makers/crooks, and even TV personalities are cashing in on this but I guess this is what our world has come to.

  14. Hey Stephanie~Bozo knew, I believe. Remember when Casey and him wanted to search secretly, I believe they were going to go there. Maybe Bozo will be the next one who is looking for an attorney and immunity. As for an appeal, well, I don’t know, all the evidence is pointing in her direction. Maybe Bozo needs a new profession!

  18. Bozo may need a new profession, because he is pretty new at the atty. game, and he’s got himself involved in a HUGE case where if DP comes into play, he’ll have to play 2nd fiddle. He was smart enough to surround himself with the top experts, but if I was on trial for Murder 1, I would not pick an atty. based on what other inmates have said while I’m sitting there with chains and handcuffs on…pretty naive on KC’s part, but she doesn’t want to give him up…they’ve BONDED!

    Yes ALL the evidence points right to Casey. Bozo’s forte is definitely not law. He may be inexperienced but I don’t have any experience and would not have made the mistakes he has made. I think we might just see many more then just the Anthony’s get immunity.

  28. I think these woods so close to home is just where KC put the body. The police did not look there so close to home because they thought kc was at least smart enough to know better than put baby right next to home….but she did, and I think all of them were trying to find it for along time to move it to a better place.They needed this baby to never be found.

  32. I do not believe that anyone “knew” where Caylee was and left her laying there. If someone knew she was there, they would have either moved her to a better hiding place or told LE. The A’s may be nuts, but I just don’t think they would have left her there if they knew. If anyone actually did know and did not say then they should be charged with a crime.

    That’s what’s so sick about this case…a lot of people think someone DID move the bag–probably Lee–and the A’s did know & let it sit there & rot in the woods, hoping Casey would somehow be acquitted.
    This actually makes no sense to me in so many ways. LE & Tim Miller & various friends had all been out there–granted, the woods are very thick & overgrown–but seems someone would have found her. But really, COULD THE A’S REALLY LET CAYLEE SIT & ROT, in the hopes of getting KC exonerated? It’s not only inhumane, but they had to know that eventually the truth would come out. Do you think they were upset the body was found? Or did they want the body found, so they could get on with the kidnapping theory? I know I am rambling & maybe not making sense, but I find it hard to believe that grandparent’s could do that. Lee is another story.

    What is inappropriate (among other things) is murdering your child, duct taping her mouth shut, shoving her in a garbage bag, and throwing her out of your car, into the woods, where teens and kids hang out.

  46. KC twists and strutts, then has this look on her face in court like she just ate the canaary. We have not seen her at all since baby was found that turned out to be Caylee….. I bet the strut is gone and I bet the attitute of superior knowledge is also going to be gone off her face.

  47. With all that has happened in this case I would not be shocked if they knew exactly where Caylee was. I wouldn’t think they would leave her there but the fact is they started damage control the moment the Anthony’s brought the car home.

  54. Good Morning, Humble, this is the most confusing case, is everyone involved a liar? LP said he recieved a call from Hoover saying that they had found Caylee in Nov. He also said he SAW the tape. LP said that he immediately reported it to LE. I hate to think that he is lying, as far as I know he never took the poly. I believe Hoover called LP, do you think that is why he made the remark about don’t be surprised if they already have the body? He said that Hoover said that he had taped over it but then something about still having it, why doesn’t LE drag Hoover in for questioning?? Too many people are trying to get their 5 minutes of fame & its confusing as heck… just look at the list of characters involved, it just keeps growing… I don’t think LP made the remark about the body lightly, I think maybe he may have believed Hoover, & that the remains were still under water & that when he reported the conversation with Hoover that maybe LE would have gone & found the remains… Does anyone understand what i am trying to say? I know I am taking alot of meds, lol, but something doesn’t make sense, NOTHING makes sense. I am sure LP will still take a poly, & I think this Casey guy Hoover definetly need to take one.   56. I’ll post this photo again for the umpfteenth time haha! just so anyone who has not seen it can. It is what you run into in places on Suburban Dr but is not typical of the entire area.

    As that area was being built up there were more woods there. Suburban Dr was a through dirt road for construction vehicles to Econlockhatchee trail and it remains today. The part to the dead end is all paved now.

  109. lp has to be causious before giving his information or opnion. He has been attacked by other lawyers and wants to verify stuff first. One of our posters informed him of coded messages between casey and lee but he waited to mention this untill other info came out to confirm it. The kids used this lake trail area in the fall/winter because it’s dry with no mosquitoes and not so hot. This kid knows of this trail. Ask kiomari about it specifically. Note Lee did not ask Casey.     I put a new hard drive in mine and it is like brand new. I did it because something attacked my computer and I didn’t have a choice. A warning to everyone back up your files just in case something like that does happen. I lost ALL my files, pictures, email address and much more.

    I have no doubt Cindy loved Caylee. I am not saying she did know but I would not be surprised if she did. From the moment she brought that car home she knew something horrible had happened to Caylee. Instead of doing the right thing Cindy cleaned out the car and started damamge control. Even her calls to 911 were not at first about her grandchild and the car. That call did not happen until Casey told her the nanny took Caylee. Then Cindy’s 911 call about the car and Caylee happened. IMO because Casey gave Cindy someone else to put blame on. I wish I didn’t feel as I do but with everything I have seen from the Anthonys out of their owns mouths, this is what I feel.

    That is what all defense attorneys do. They talk all about there not being anything but circumstanial evidence. The reason for that is because most people try not to commit the crimes and leave witnesses or evidence. Most people are convicted on circumstanial evidence and in this case the have a huge amount of that circumstancial evidence.

    They had gotten a lawyer and they did not believe Caylee was thier son’s. I think they may have done a DNA test. How horrible to lose a son then be pulled into something like this. Then to think they may have had a grandchild from the son they lost and it really not be theirs.

  147. Humble….I still say Cindy will step up to the plate when it is time. Even though it will be awful to know Casey is guilt, I think she will be there for Caylee. Caylee brought her nothing but happiness. Casey brought her nothing but pain.

    Isn’t it kind of important to determine who the father is/was? That might give them some kind of clue as to why Caylee was killed…
    I mean, if Caylee was the product of incest, or the real father found out she was his and was being abused and threatened Casey with charges, those would all be motives.
    I want to know who the father is! I guess if it was indeed a random dude from a club we might never know…
    BUT, unless he was totally blacked out, he would probably remember having sex was Casey, and since this is such a high profile case, you would think he would be concerned Caylee could have been his.

    That was how old my dell was when I replaced the harddrive. Hard drive is easy to put in but you did need to back up your files. When you load everything it is best to have someone that knows computers really well.

  157. There is also many good deals on computers right now. We had just gotten my daugher laptop for college and it was the Vista program through Dell. They just told me my windows xp is now wanted more because it is better then vista and they will not be selling windows xp anymore. So if you get a new computer and you still have your package that came with your dell you can put it on Craigs list.

  166. I read somewhere that duct tape was found in the car. C & G might have let Caylee lie out there and rot if it would protect their 2 children. Remember they were trying to convince e-one she was still alive. They were not trying to delay the trial. They have not planned the funeral yet. As far as the video, right from the beginning it sounded like another one of C’s distractions. When everything comes out about this case, I think we are all going to be shaking our heads. I have never heard of a case with so many twist and turns. Let me say BIZARRE TWIST AND TURNS!

    I don’t think it matters who the father is…as far as why Caylee was murdered. (Obviously,it would be good to know because the father/family has a right to know if they want to)

    I know I’ve already said it, but I believe Casey killed Caylee in a fit of rage. And what her thoughts were at that time, I can totally imagine it.

    We just bought my boyfriend’s son a Mac Book. And it is AWESOME! Cost $999 at Best Buy. He is a music student and needed one desperately for college. I thought that was a very good deal. Macs are supposed to be superior, less viruses, longer lasting, good support, etc.

    My home computer is DEAD. 😦

    I saw so many posts that have been totally off topic. Far more off topic than in regard to Caylee.

    Again, in all due respect and you all know how many of you I certainly respect and adore, we come here to share our productive views on the Caylee case. We offer theories and thoughts, but when I see such nasty remarks and horrible name calling, It bother’s me.

    I have made a few off the wall comments in regard to Casey and the A’s, but I know I have never called this family names. Regardless they’re extremely dysfuntional, they didn’t follow through to protect their granddaugther, which many dysfunctional families do also, it doesn’t mean we have to bash them with disgusting name calling… Again, it’s just my own opinion and how it see it not being productive with “theories” and “questions” regarding the case….

    Also, I understand when there is a low with the news, we tend to go off topic at times….understandable. But if I can make a helpful suggestion, is that when the news is at a low, than why not search out the LE reports, watch and listen to ALL of the video’s, read the documents, etc..than offer more theories.

    Each time I go back to reread something or watch a video, I think to myself, well, maybe it didn’t happen this way or that way….it keeps our minds active and more productive than to continually go off topic…

    HUMBLE….You do such an excellent job in keeping us informed. It’s a tireless job, especially when you have a personal life too. What you do for us is SELFLESS, IMO….but many people depend solely on you, Humble to feed them the information. Than they pick up bits and pieces from other blogs, or some websluthes site, etc and it gets twisted around and wrong information gets put out there.

    Another thing that bother’s me at times is “those of us who do a lot of “good” research, wanting to share it with everyone, we type our hearts out with this info, only to have it ignored! It kind of makes a person lose interest in wanting to produce some good information that’s out there….

    All we can do as outsiders is present our theories, but hopefully our theories are based on what we have read and listend to from LE and Forensic reports, along with information that is on reputable news channels! And not make fun of people who truly are “up close and personal” selflessly giving their time and money to find out the “truth” in “what happened to Caylee?”

It’s interesting that in one of the reports, I think where the teenagers claimed they were in the same spot that the remains were found put in a report on 9-11-08 about going to the same spot and they were messing with this stick and rope stuck around the stick and how some ground there looked “disturbed”. What I’m disturbed about is that it’s on 9-11-08, the meter guy called on 8-11-08 and the body found on 12-11-08??!?

But,,,,, she acts so impartial about the fact that kc killed Caylee.   459. Hi Again, thought I was going to bed but instead it bothered me to find that report on the duct tape and although there is a tremendous amount of reading through all of those earlier reports, I did find a photo of the contents from the plastic bag from Casey’s trunk in LE reports.

    Humble….is there a way for me to send you ALL of the information I just found of EVERY report LE has. It’s far TOO MUCH for me to link to your blog. I’m sure there are many reports none of us have read yet, especially the NEWEST and LATEST reports from LE through the entire month of November.

I honestly do not believe through the month of Nov,or at least mid Nov, were the A’s talking back and forth to Casey through Baez…I think Baez was purposely holding back a great deal of info Casey told him about…..Whereas the PI who once worked for Baez, left Baez and began working for the A’s….so as far as C&G knowing 100% where Caylee’s remains were? I don’t think they could be that cold hearted, especially George, to allow Caylee’s remains to sit there for an entire month. They made be many things but I don’t for one minute beleive they new exactly where Caylee was.

    This could account for the fact that when Cindy was called by LE that a childs remains were found in the wooded are behind their home, Cindy’s response was “Ok, we’ll leave now” Nothing more did she say, nor ask of LE….why? Because she already suspected Caylee’s remains were there but not the exact location….

I had read your post last night about him being on with Vinnie, I searched for the transcript but couldn’t find it, I wish I had seen it, I try to keep up with LP. I do believe Hoover called him & told him about the video & that they had found the remains. I do believe LP reported it to LE.     Kah….I agree with you about Cindy’s reaction, but if you consider the fact that she knew Caylee was gone, and was told by a PI that he recieved a TIP that Caylee’s body could be in the woods, I would assume her reaction was what it was because she was already prepared for the worse. She didn’t allow the public to see how prepared she really was. Why? because she was still hoping Casey had nothing to do with Caylee’s death….a mother in denial! I just hope she does the right thing by Caylee now that she was found and ALL evidence without question lead to her daughter Casey.

  478. LP has “gone home to CA” as some said he should, you can tell when he’s on live feed on NG, he’s in his library with all of the law books in the background. Yes, the man went to law school, so I don’t think he’s going to lie to LE/FBI nor “plant evidence”.
    As soon as he got the info about the video, he called LE, just as he has numerous times in the past when presented with information.
    After all of the slamming & name calling he’s endured, he’s still in it & will be to the end.

    sschap – I too missed HLN yesterday, but I did see LP and Mark fighting last week too when he was on.
    Everyone is entitled to their opinion & I know everyone doesn’t like LP. I do like him & have right from the start. And I can’t wait to hear what he says next, it’s sure to be interesting.

  503. I have had a problem with the meter reader, not that I think he did anything wrong, but when he found the bag this time, he kicked it, that’s how he knew what was in it. If he had done that before, she could have been found sooner. Also I thought LP said that the meter reader was off when he made the first 3 calls, that he was over on the school side of the area, but when he came back in Dec, he entered the area from the other side, next to suburban dr. next to the fence, I am getting so confused. LP said that there was alot of trash in the area, & the meter reader reported a white bag at first, I can’t even think any more!

    LE specifically said the bag, when found by the meter reader was black….but the body was double bagged! That’s factual…so it’s possible the first bag the meter reader saw that looked ODD to him, was GREY as he first stated and than the second bag he “kicked” was Black. He kicked it because he was afriad to open it…I don’t blame him for being afraid…I would be also….

    I know it’s all so confusing and we can only speculate until ALL the facts are released during the trial….Unless LE decides to release more evidence before the trial??? Who knows for sure..
